New position – at speed – your Lion Bites word for today

Psalm 28:7
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.

I heard the Spirit of the Lord say, ‘I am moving you at speed into where you need to be positioned for this coming season.’

To move into this new position requires a lightening of your load. For some, this journey will be painful in the letting go of the ‘old’ and the ‘familiar’. But, as you let go of what the Lord highlights to you, you will be able to move through a very tight place with ease.

Some will even move through this narrow way and pick up the same things that they originally let go of – yet they will be different in the way they reconnect with you. Others, on arrival at this destination point, will be given new assignments / jobs / homes / ministries / breakthrough for communities, regions and nations.

‘I am testing your heart,’ says God.

He may be asking you to lay down the things which you love the most – to see if you will truly follow and obey Him. This will be a particularly short but intense journey of faith – as you put down all that the Lord asks of you, He will move you with rapidity into the new position that He has prepared for you.

Many would fear and think that they are about to lose everything – so be sure of this: that in the release and the letting go, more is being added to you. ‘Do not fear, for I am with you and I am not leaving you bereft,’ says the Lord.
