False Responsibility – your Lion Bites word for today

Today God speaks to where you are heavily burdened, busy and tired, and He says:
‘You are not a performing animal in a circus, being made to jump through hoops for everyone’s pleasure.
You are not to be the one who lives, carrying false responsibility for everyone else’s well being.’
 
It is time to set false responsibilities down; it is time to say ‘no’ to some situations; it is time to ask God to break the yoke of false responsibility off your back.
 
Matthew 11:28-30
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
