Psalm 103:2
Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget none of His benefits
To you who struggle on the way and wonder where your help will come from I say, ‘Remember from where I have brought you, look to the rock from which you were hewn (Isaiah 51:1).’
Look back to the things that I have done in your life: the ways in which you have been healed and delivered; the miraculous provisions in your life; your salvation. Look back to those testimonies that have become like memorial heaps on the way and know that I am not a God who starts but does not finish!
I am not a God who abandons His people. I am not like a man that I should lie. (Numbers 23:19).
Those struggles and obstacles in your way have become distractions and like mountains that hide your gaze from me. So I say you, look to your memorial piles, your testimonies of my goodness towards you and then see the God from whom the mountains flee and tremble – then see the God who is your all-sufficiency.
Do not lean on the arm of man, but see me, trust in me and in my great power toward you. I am the God of your salvation!
Isaiah 43:10-13
“You are My witnesses,” declares the LORD, “And My servant whom I have chosen, So that you may know and believe Me And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, And there will be none after Me. I, even I, am the LORD, And there is no saviour besides Me. It is I who have declared and saved and proclaimed, And there was no strange god among you; So you are My witnesses,” declares the LORD, “And I am God. Even from eternity I am He, And there is none who can deliver out of My hand; I act and who can reverse it?“
