Your waiting is God’s invitation… – your Lion Bites word for today

Did you know that seasons of waiting are times when God prepares you for incredible fruitfulness?

Isaiah 64:4
For from days of old no one has heard, nor has ear perceived, Nor has the eye seen a God besides You, Who works and acts on behalf of the one who [gladly] waits for Him.

Sons and daughters of the King, know that, as you have been in a waiting season for certain breakthroughs for what has felt like quite some time, God has been working on your behalf. Despite your feelings of being in ‘limbo’, God has been acting to set you up to possess incredible blessings.

He says to us, ‘I love when you wait upon me with an eager anticipation burning in your heart, for this invites me to come to you and outwork some things that you would otherwise not see achieved. This season of waiting, although frustrating, is not forever but it is a necessary place of preparation in your life where I get to set you up for my call upon your life.

The type of waiting I look for is not found in complacency but is found in eager anticipation. For those who eagerly wait upon me will be filled with a new measure of my fruitfulness. Your waiting is my invitation.’

So take heart! You will not be staying in this waiting season forever. Rejoice that, while you are, it is setting you up to possess incredible blessings.
