Your Voice – your Lion Bites word for today

God has given you a voice and His Spirit will empower it to turnaround lives around you. Whether your ‘voice’ is in the form of speaking out, singing out, writing and sending, status-updating or just saying ‘hello’, God has given you some way of being a voice in this world. Do not be in denial of this!

And the Lord says to you, ‘I love your voice. I made you with a voice and others need to hear it. Allow me to use your voice to bring truth, light and life to the ones I love. If you obediently open your mouth and speak out, my Spirit will hover on your words and will bring to them a new clarity that pierces the heart of the hearer.’

Few need a pulpit, platform or stage for their God-given voice to ring out; most of us will speak life to those God puts around us – at the dinner table, in the queue, at the photocopier, in the classroom, by a bedside, on the phone, in an email…

Tell God that you believe Him when He says that you have a voice that He wants to use. Let Him know you’re ready for Him to use your voice. Turn your back on denial and embrace the opportunities He has given you. Speak out! Sing out! Whisper out! Write out! Send out! Declare out!
