The Spirit of the Lord says “you will fulfil your call, you will walk in your destiny, you will see your promises fulfilled. For I am not a God who lies, I am not a God who misleads, I am not a God who holds a golden carrot before you to lead you down the wrong path. Instead, I am a God who speaks, who stands by what I have spoken and works to see it fulfilled. Do not disregard dreams and visions you carry because you haven’t seen them manifest instead, hope all the more as you remind yourself of my nature.”

God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?
