You Make God Glad – your Lion Bites word for today

You make God glad. He smiles at your name and everything you do is important to Him. Father God cares deeply about you and is always there, surrounding you as your refuge and your strength. Don’t fear man; pay little attention to those who strut around as if they hold all power. Fear the Lord your God, who is a mighty fortress and who is with you. Amidst the proud noises and haughty bluster of the world’s powers and powerful people, still yourself. Quiet any anxiety in you and remember that there is only one God and He will be exalted among the nations, exalted in the earth.

Psalm 46:1-6
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.

Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts.
