You have been found

Luke 19:5
When Jesus came by, he looked up at Zacchaeus and called him by name. “Zacchaeus!” he said. “Quick, come down! I must be a guest in your home today.”

My dear child, I see you. I have seen your desire and your eagerness to see me and to-be-seen-by-me. Set aside your striving to be seen …which comes from a place of having felt overlooked. You don’t need to strain and stand on your tiptoes to be seen – I can see you, I know your heart, I hear your prayers. ‘Come and let’s sit awhile. Let’s dine together. Come and eat with me, for you were lost but have been found.’

And the Spirit of the Lord comes to bring an end to the feelings of hide-and-seek with God, where you feel lost and then found. Know the truth in your heart-of-hearts that you have been found by God and that you will never be lost to Him, nor overlooked by Him. Rejoice instead that salvation has come to your house. Allow Him to abide in you, dwell in you. End those nomadic, searching journeys.
End striving – for you have been found!

Luke 19:9
Jesus responded, “Salvation has come to this home today, for this man has shown himself to be a true son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.”
