You can’t bottle the light –  your Lion Bites word for today

“My light is unstoppable, it constantly blazes, consuming all darkness and illuminating your world. My spirit blows where it will, in gentle breezes or in all-powerful hurricanes, in any direction from which I send it. Can you bottle light? Can you bottle the wind? Light is not light without the source and wind cannot blow inside a jar. My light is everywhere; it transcends situations and geography. My spirit moves continually and does not stay still.”

Some of us are reliant on our ‘quiet times’ and, while these are important, they are not a well from which we can fill up our jars and put them on the shelf for later on. God is there at all times, and He is calling us to go directly to Him, our source, throughout our day. From moment to moment He is always on the move, and we need to be tuned in, walking in that light and by the power of His Spirit in our every moment.

So stop and feel the warmth of His light and feel the breeze of His Spirit. Encounter the power of His might to bring healing to your heart, to help you deal with that difficult work colleague resulting in breakthrough in their life, to break the weight of disappointment over family situations, to find creative solutions to propel you forward in new projects.

Job 37: 21-23
We cannot look at the sun, for it shines brightly in the sky when the wind clears away the clouds. So also, golden splendour comes from the mountain of God, He is clothed in dazzling splendour. We cannot imagine the power of the Almighty.
