I saw a vision of Jesus’ tomb and, although He wasn’t in it, I realised that someone was living in there. The person was existing in a place that felt ‘safe’ and where close to Him and were afraid to come out into the open spaces. I then saw Jesus rising up out of the earth with thousands of chains attached to Him but as He rose the chains snapped off in all directions! These were all the chains that ever have and ever will exist: chains of fear, depression, disappointment, rejection, anger, punishment, judgement, division and hurt.
Jesus rose from the grave, He rose to walk in the garden but then ascended even higher and is seated in heaven. And He raised us with Him!
He can make it possible to walk on water, as if it were glass. He can make seemingly impenetrable walls feel like mist if we dare to walk through them. He can raise us up until we see that the chains that have been holding us back are not even attached – because He has broken every one! He is inviting you to come up higher, to come out of the small, ‘safe’ places and instead to dare to go to new places, to experience more of His victory, feel the glorious joy of wide open spaces and to allow the wind of His Spirit to touch you.
1 Corinthians 6:14
Now God has not only raised the Lord, but will also raise us up through His power.
Ephesians 2:6
For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.
