The Lord is always refining and pruning you in order to build your character so that you are righteous and whole. Although the process can be smooth and easy, at times you may feel like a part of you is being challenged. Beware that resentment doesn’t creep into your heart.

Stop and ask if this challenging is the Holy Spirit at work in you and do not fight against the work that He does, for He has your best interests at heart.

And don’t be disheartened when you receive criticism from a fellow brother or sister, for it is in those moments that you can learn and grow in maturity and character.
