Wildfires – your Lion Bites word for today

Psalm 50:3
Our God comes and will not be silent; a fire devours before him, and around him a tempest rages
 
If the heat of your passion for the Lord has drifted or been on the wane it is time to allow Him to stir it up once more. Do not allow the fire of passion to die out but instead press in for the more of God, allowing Him to build and stoke the fire to its roaring capacity

For the fire in you must BURN – it must roar – if your land is to be transformed. It cannot be a subtle flame, it must be raging and wild. The Lord is about to release a wind of extreme strength on His people that will make their fires inside fierce and intense. The Wildfires* are beginning and will be a force in the land. To be a ‘Wildfire’ you need to draw close to Him and allow His Spirit to blow, even violently, on you. The Lord invites you – ‘Come and allow me to increase and stoke up the fire within you’.

To receive this fresh fire you must also be rightly positioned and open to His coming wind, so make yourself ready and be expectant for the strong wind which re-kindles and whips up the fire.

 A wildfire differs from other fires by its extensive size, the speed at which it can spread out from its original source, its potential to change direction unexpectedly, and its ability to jump gaps such as roads, rivers and fire breaks.
