As you look about and wonder what you can do to make a difference someone’s life, your neighbourhood or city, I hear the Spirit of the Lord say, “Look at what you have. Focus on what you can do.
You can pray.
You can pick up the phone.
You can visit a neighbour.
You can give ME away!
You are not helpless, stuck or incapable.
You have much within you for I placed it there.
I have blessed you so that you in turn could bless others.
Now is the time to stretch out your hand to give your friendship. Now is the time for a listening ear, for a bag of food and a financial blessing. Now is the time for a power-filled prayer of authority and agreement to meet the needs of those around you. Look and see what is in your hand. Then open it and release it. Choose to boldly be MY hands and feet to meet the needs upon the earth. I have called you and equipped you. Trust that I will move as you let me loose and expect the miraculous.”
Acts 3:6-8
Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God.
