What has to die? – your Lion Bites word for today

Isaiah 6:1
In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple.

What has to die in order for you to see the Lord? What must be uprooted for you to experience His glory?

Recently you may have wondered about feeling a ‘disconnect’ between yourself and the Holy Spirit – between you and His glorious, manifest presence in your life.

But now, look as the Spirit highlights where life brought certain things that got in the way and blinded your vision, deafened your ears and dulled your senses. He says to you, ‘Some things must die in order for there to be new life. Some traditions must be uprooted to make way for fresh moves of my Spirit. Ways of thinking must be removed for there to be a release of heavenly thinking and things of the flesh must be burned off so that you might experience a new depth of relationship with me. So if you have wondered and questioned why I am silent or distant then I ask you to look and see where you have disconnected yourself from my Spirit. Have you blocked the flow of revelation because of what you have allowed to come in through your back door?’

Assess yourself and see where there are blockages that have inhibited your relationship with God and invite Him to remove them today. It is time for those things to die, that you might see the Lord afresh.
