My child, hear this today: We are connected.
I know that lately it has felt like I am far away. You have felt like my voice is silent; like your heart is separated from mine; like my presence is distant. This is not the truth.
The truth is that you and I are one. Even in the times when I do not feel as close as you would like, you must hold onto this truth. For you are empowered by my Spirit! You live not by the flesh but by my Spirit.
We are one – you and I – and no matter how you may feel, hold onto this powerful truth. My child, we are connected!
Activation: First, let go of any doubts or disappointments you have been feeling about God’s closeness to you. Share your heart with him and repent where needed. Then, declare aloud, “I am connected to the Spirit of God!” Say this as many times as it takes until you feel the weight of it within yourself. Then, ask the Lord for a deeper awareness of his spirit to grow within you and a fresh security in being spirit-led.
Romans 8:14-16 (TPT)
The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit. And you did not receive the “spirit of religious duty,” leading you back into the fear of never being good enough. But you have received the “Spirit of full acceptance,” enfolding you into the family of God. And you will never feel orphaned, for as he rises up within us, our spirits join him in saying the words of tender affection, “Beloved Father!” For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost being, “You are God’s beloved child!”
Ephesians 2:13 (NLT)
But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ.
