Unto us a child is born!

Isaiah 9:6-7
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end.

When the world appeared to spin out of control as Adam and Eve fell, God already had a solution. He did not kick the earth to one side and reject it. Rather he stepped into time and paid a high price to get us back. In this Christmas season, God speaks to us of his unfailing love, of his slowness to anger and his great mercy.

No matter how much chaos you feel in your life, no matter how much you feel you have failed, no matter how your heart speaks of your disqualification, no matter how disappointed you are with you…take hope, the babe in a manger has made a way through for you. He makes all things new!
