Be aware of your surroundings, look around at those who are beside and behind you and how desperate they are to be fed. Do not be so fixed on where your next meal is coming from that you neglect your role in feeding those who are hungry, or your role in making space for them at the table. The Spirit says, ‘Turn towards to those who need fed.’
This word may convict some of you of a pull towards practically looking out for the food provision to those in need. But for some, it is a prompting that you need to be involved in the spiritual nourishment of others and not just concerned for your own discipleship needs.
Do remain hungry for all that you can get from God but don’t be blinkered to the role God might be giving you in the lives of others around you.
Matthew 25:36
I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.
