Transformation

My beloved, 

I recognize that there are areas in your life where you feel that you are being continually worn down. Pay attention to those areas for it is in these places of repeated grinding and chipping away that I am refining you. 

Stay with me! Reshaping can take time but the end result is lasting and impactful change. Such refinement will not only impact you but it will change the effect you have on others, as you shine with my glory, displaying my love to those around you. I am establishing my precepts within you so that you can reveal me wherever I lead you. 

I have attended to every detail in your life so that you will not be lacking. In your refining you have been trained and made ready to pick up the position I have reserved for you. As you submit to my instructions you will stand out because you allowed me to transform you and reflect my brilliance because you didn’t resist me. It’s here where you will bring honour to me and make my name known amongst those around you.

Activation: Think of an area in your life where you may feel that you are struggling in. Ask the Lord for revelation on this area so that you can understand the refining work He is doing. Then, spend some time conversing with the Lord about what He is doing. Have you been resisting Him in any way? Ask for wisdom and counsel on how to best partner with what He is doing in your life.

And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.
