To those who wait – your Lion Bites word for today

To those who are waiting on the Lord: wait, wait patiently.
Know that He has heard your cries, know that He has heard your prayers and petitions.
Know that He is mighty to save; know that He is all-powerful, all-present and all-knowing.
Know that He has the answer; know that His words do not return to Him void. He is the God of the covenant – He is not a man that He could lie.
Have patience, He has sent His Holy Spirit to help you. The Spirit will give you patience, as you allow Him. Find joy in the waiting, joy in the patience
Know that He is your God, He is your good Father, He loves you unconditionally and He will never, never, never abandon you.
Know that you have not been abandoned.
Know that He is the sure foundation upon which you stand. Christ Jesus is your rock, a sure and steadfast anchor.
Wait patiently on the Lord and He will delight you.
 
Psalm 40:1-3
I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him.
