As 2019 begins, maybe you have become disappointed and discouraged because you don’t feel you’ve found the new rhythm with God you were hoping for. Resolutions to wake up an hour earlier to spend time in the Word or more time in prayer – already broken. Discouragement that the relationship you had with the Father will be as it was last year has tried to rest on you.
But to you, He says ‘Don’t be discouraged. I am patient and kind and slow starts aren’t always a bad thing. There is a new rhythm and a new flow with me this year. What I desire is for you simply to say, ‘I choose you again, Father. I choose your love and presence. I choose to find the new rhythm you have for me today and I thank you for always being ever-present.”
Psalm 139:7
Where can I go from your Spirit? Or where can I flee from your presence?
