The Whispers of Jesus –  your Lion Bites word for today

The gentlest of whispers from the mouth of King Jesus causes life to explode inside of you. He doesn’t need to roar nor immerse you in an extreme experience to cause what was dead to live again. All you must do is quieten yourself and choose to listen to the gentle whisper of Jesus, that’s sounding inside of you right now. With His whisper, He will calm the seas of despair that rage in your soul. With one word spoken with gentleness, He will cause order to come to the chaos of your internal world. He speaks softly, and your enemies flee immediately, and He sings sweetly and all your fears are gone.

You don’t need to strain hard to hear Jesus, as though He’s whispering from a far-off distance. His spirit lives within you, always speaking and always whispering. You just need to choose to quieten yourself and allow His voice to take over your entire being.
