Does my voice not cause mountains to melt like wax? Is it not like the sound of many waters? Do not forget that my voice shakes the deserts and causes the wilderness to tremble. My voice carries infinite power. Yet, I have opened up a pathway for you to steward my voice and to hear it, not just once or twice, but all of the time.
Love my voice and seek my wisdom. Do not pick up the past solutions like a repeat prescription. Have courage, instead, to keep asking for fresh wisdom, fresh insight and fresh revelation. Hear My voice over and again in humility and submission. I always have something new and fresh to tell you.’
Psalm 29:3-9
The voice of the Lord is over the waters;
the God of glory thunders,
the Lord thunders over the mighty waters.
The voice of the Lord is powerful;
the voice of the Lord is majestic.
The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars;
the Lord breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.
He makes Lebanon leap like a calf,
Sirion like a young wild ox.
The voice of the Lord strikes
with flashes of lightning.
The voice of the Lord shakes the desert;
the Lord shakes the Desert of Kadesh.
The voice of the Lord twists the oaks
and strips the forests bare.
And in his temple all cry, “Glory!”
