The Unified Bride

For too long, my church has divided and separated herself, operating from silos and bunkers. She has disagreed among herself over subjects that have not been a priority to me. In her well-meaning ways, she has placated the world and has lost sight of the mandate that I have given her. I am now calling upon my bride to be unified. My grace will not rest upon denominations, ministries, or projects built upon man-made ideals or self-serving concepts. I will not tolerate the empire spirit among my people.

In these days, I am releasing strategies and blueprints to those who are willing to set aside their own agendas and will commit to building for my Kingdom as a unified bride. So set aside any worldly affiliations and seek me first. Do not look with earthly eyes but ask for revelation of my Kingdom perspective. Then I will release opportunities for you to partner with others in a new way. A way that crosses denominations, cultures, and even nations—to unify my bride by the Spirit within you, for the sake of the Kingdom.

Activation: Come before the Lord now and examine your heart. Ask Holy Spirit to reveal to you any ways that you have knowingly or unknowingly partnered with worldly values within your ministry or church. Repent of this aloud now: ‘I’m sorry Lord for the times I have partnered with values and motives that were not of you. I release the hold of the empire spirit upon me now and submit myself to you, and you alone. Use me Lord to partner with your unified bride to see your Kingdom come.’ Take some time over the coming days and weeks to ask the Lord to reveal new opportunities for you to partner with others in unexpected places, and to reveal to you what your role is in unifying Christ’s beloved bride. Ask him to help you to view these opportunities with increased spiritual sight, and not with earthly understanding.

Ephesians 4:15-16 (AMP)

But speaking the truth in love [in all things—both our speech and our lives expressing His truth], let us grow up in all things into Him [following His example] who is the Head—Christ. From Him the whole body [the church, in all its various parts], joined and knitted firmly together by what every joint supplies, when each part is working properly, causes the body to grow and mature, building itself up in [unselfish] love.

John 17:20-23 (NIV)

My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
