The Son Has Risen! – your Lion Bites word for today

2 Corinthians 4:6
For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.

Christ our Lord has risen and He is our light!
You have felt like the sun was setting and the shadows lengthening on some of your dreams. But, even as all the obvious solutions have not brought resolution to your circumstances in the way you had hoped for, look up and see that that He is the sun rising in your sky.

He is bringing glorious light, like the dawn breaking all over again. Any gathering darkness over your hopes will be dispelled and any doubts will vanish! Let the warmth of His promises stir everything into life again. Lift your face toward heaven and know that His light never leaves you. His sun never sets and His promises will always prevail. Set your thoughts on Him and let His joy and hope fill you again.

Revelation 22:5
There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.
