The Silversmith’s Fire

In this hour I am calling my people to come up higher; I am calling you into a new level of holiness. The only way to enter in is through My refining fire.

He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver – Malachi 3:3

I come to purify and refine My people with holy fire. Just as when the silversmith places the silver in the fire and the impurities are brought to the surface and can be skimmed away, so too when you are placed in My refiners fire.

My fire will not harm you but will burn up all that is not of Me and bring a greater degree of purification to My people. Just as the silversmith sits and does not take his eye off the refining process, so I also have My eye on you and will not keep you in the fire for a second longer than required. How does the silversmith know when the refining process is complete? When he can see his reflection in the silver.
