The Sabbath Rest

The Lord says, ‘My beloved, understand how to rest, in Me and with Me. The cares and responsibilities of this world will always be there. There will always be jobs to do, things that require your attention and dreams to be realised, but follow the example that I gave you when I created the world and took a day to rest.

You are in season where there are demands on your time and so many things that you could focus on. But be on the alert, for the enemy would have you ‘burn out’.

Therefore, would you give Me the things which are most precious and costly to you? Take a look – is it your time that you hold so preciously?’

‘And allow Me to refresh and revive you, as you learn how to rest in Me’, says the Lord.

Hebrews 4:9-11
So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God’s rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.
Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience.
