The rock with emergency lighting –  your Lion Bites word for today

I saw a metal conveyor belt made up of plates that moved, and the result was that anyone walking on it felt a shifting beneath their feet that impeded their progress and feeling of security. I then saw a rock path that was perfectly smooth, infinitely deep and immovable that had emergency lighting on either side.

God says “I am the rock! My ways are unchanging and always illuminated. No matter how much shaking or moving there is, or how deep the darkness becomes, there is no mistaking my purpose nor is there any doubt about my faithfulness.”

Some of you have adopted someone’s good idea or method and now feel committed to a certain path but know it’s not God’s. It’s time to get back to the foundational truths in God’s word and allow him to bring wisdom to your situation. Allow Him to light your way, trust Him and know that He can redirect your path.
