Even in the midst of battle, when the bombs are landing and the bullets whizz and whine all around, you hear the cries of the wounded and the dying: “help me, help me”; “save me, save me”. This is the battlefield of life.
Who will come to their aid? I see Him – He is coming, He is coming! He runs, He crawls, He jumps, He crosses no-man’s land to get to the injured, to the helpless, to those who have already given up. He stands in the gap. He has no fear. He has never failed those that call out His name.
His name is JESUS and today He calls your attention Moses words to Joshua in Deuteronomy 31:6 – Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you, nor forsake you.
