The power is on!

I heard the Lord say, ‘These are the days of my power. I am moving in power across the earth, across nations, across people groups. Behold I am doing a new thing!’

There are those of us in the Western world who are sceptical of these things… we ‘raise an eyebrow’ in our hearts. And so we tarry a little, we wait for something to happen – evidence -in our lives, our churches, our cities, our nations. And the Spirit of the Lord says today, ‘there are even some of you who wait on my lightning, my lightning from heaven. But do you not know, do you not see, that my power is already here, my power is already amongst you?’

Then I saw this illustrated in a picture as electricity and the ‘national power grid’. When we want power, we go to the wall, to the socket and we simply plug our appliances in. We plug in our music systems, our phones; even our hospital beds and hospital machines are plugged in. We plug in and the power is there.

You are an agent of God’s power in this earth. You are filled with power – you’re baptised in the Holy Spirit, aren’t you? Please don’t wait, please be part of the new thing in these days.
