The Mind of Christ  – your Lion Bites word for today

1 Corinthians 2:11
For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.

Just as you have received the helmet of salvation, put on the mind of Christ! You are one with His Spirit; He lives in you and breathes through you. Just as He brings life to your spirit, He also imparts the thoughts, ways and mind-set of Christ to you. 

Put off doubt. Throw off fear and don’t let it come to dwell with you. Push back distractions that come to crowd you and instead think upon Christ risen! Recall His promises and recognise the clarity, solutions, faith, order and inspiration that He brings to your thoughts. Because you have the Spirit within you, you have the mind of Christ.

If you have been experiencing doubt, fear or confusion, pray this prayer today: ‘Jesus, in your mighty name I choose to put aside doubt, fear and confusion and declare that they are not mine because I have the mind of Christ. I ask that you would open the eyes of my heart in order that I may know the hope to which you have called me, the riches of your glorious inheritance in your holy people, and your incomparably great power for me because I believe. (Ephesians 1:18) God, reveal your solutions and your perspective to me. Lift me up above my circumstances and help me see more clearly the way ahead. I choose life and freedom, I choose YOU and I choose YOUR victorious thoughts today!’
