Genesis 1:1-3
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. Then God said, ‘Let there be light’; and there was light.
Take courage my child, for you have more than you think.
You are more effective than you think.
In a darkened room, nothing can be seen until light is brought into the room. Even the tiniest particle of light brings about a dramatic change into the darkness. Darkness always flees before the light!
I have made you to be the light in the midst of darkness. Be aware of what I have put within you and of the light that I have made you to be. As you are in me, that light will grow brighter and brighter. Know that the Holy Spirit always hovers over the light in the darkness.
I have made you to be that light.
Matthew 5:14-16
You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
