The Kite

I watched as a kite, beautifully coloured and crafted, flew free in the sky.

And as the kite flew, the Lord said – ‘So long have you yearned to fly free; to feel the wind lift you higher and higher; to soar with my Spirit; to run and not grow faint. The hunger in you has been high – longing for the freedom that you knew was there; longing for the release to soar.’

So now will you entrust yourself to His hand? He knows best how to release you to fly higher and higher. The Lord will hold on to you as the buffeting winds come into your life and He will skillfully guide you into the blue sky and lifting thermals of your true destiny.

Trust the one who holds the string of your life: He is faithful and true.
