The King of Life is on the Move – your Lion Bites word for today

“I am on the move; are you? I have never stopped moving forward and doing a new thing; however, many of you have restricted me to the old. Yet I’m not there; I’m in the new. I am always bringing forth new life, new creativity and newness. Will you get into the new and shake off the old? Shake off the old patterns, the old ways of doing and being, and allow me to shift you into new life.”

Choose today to say, “Jesus, would You show me the new thing that You want to do in my life today? And would You show me the old things that need to go?” And then expect Him to answer for He desires you to move into life, life and more life.

But that’s no life for you. You learned Christ! My assumption is that you have paid careful attention to him, been well instructed in the truth precisely as we have it in Jesus. Since, then, we do not have the excuse of ignorance, everything—and I do mean everything—connected with that old way of life has to go. It’s rotten through and through. Get rid of it! And then take on an entirely new way of life—a God-fashioned life, a life renewed from the inside and working itself into your conduct as God accurately reproduces his character in you.
