I am restoring back to my church the joy of her salvation.
Many of you have known what it is to lay down your life. Many of you know how to give of your finances and your service in my name, but some of you have forgotten why you do what you do and have lost your first love. Come back to me and cry out to me like King David did; ask me to restore to you the joy of your salvation and I will do it.
I will revive your heart again to beat in time with mine. I want to bring you back to a place of awe and wonder, where you are captivated by me alone.
It is there that you will know peace and fulfillment in all that you do for me.
Psalm 51:10-12
Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation And sustain me with a willing spirit.
