I see a beautiful garden, rich and lush. A place filled with colour, with flowers of every hue, trees, plants and rich springy grass underfoot. There is a brook that runs through the middle of the garden and the water splashes and runs over the river bed; the water is so clear that the stones on the river bed are visible. They’re precious stones, diamonds, topaz, sapphire and much more.
Jesus is sitting in the centre of the garden, and He says ‘Welcome to the Garden of Golgotha – The Garden of Victory.’
Do you know this victory in your life? Are you living from this place of rest and restoration? Is the victory that Jesus purchased on the cross flowing in and through and around you?
This garden is a place of safety which Jesus has set aside for you, a place of refreshing, a place of hope and a place of joy. He calls you to come, sit and spent time with Him here. For you are a victor through Jesus, and there is a fresh filling of the Spirit that is coming to you.
Trust Him with all your heart; let Him heal your pain as you draw closer to Him in prayer. Discover His great love for you in His word.
In the Garden of Golgotha, the curse of the fall has been forgiven, and you as a believer can walk with Christ both in the here and now and through all eternity. Jesus is alive, and death is conquered so come and live in the fullness of life.
Isaiah 58:11
‘’The LORD will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength.
You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring’’.
