The freedom of grace

Who said you must not? Who said that you have to stop? Did they speak for me? Have they heard from me? Your heart is worried about many things as you wonder if you’re being obedient. You worry about walking the right path and fear stumbling, even falling – fear seems to penetrate where it does not belong.

I did not come for you to live by a new set of rules or laws but I came that you would walk in the freedom and power of my grace and love. I come to show you how to hear my voice and live by the law of the Spirit. I, the Holy Spirit, have a law that says flow, rest and float with the direction of my leading. I come to empower, strengthen and encourage. I come to renew, refresh and release you into the freedom of grace; giving you the unmerited favour to do things that you’ve always wanted to do, in me. So listen to the Spirit that I have placed within you, which calls forth those things that I have taught you and ministered to you.

1 Corinthians 2:9-12
…as it is written: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him” but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man’s spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.
