The floodwaters of the Lord are rising and cannot be contained. A cascading river of new revelation of the wonder of Christ Jesus is about to be released by His Holy Spirit into the world. The flood will touch those who are thirsty, whether young or old, believer or unbeliever.
Some of God’s people will cry out in protest, saying, ‘These people don’t deserve this!’ or, ‘The Spirit of the Lord is too Holy for these people!’ or, ‘If this was really from God, He would only send the river to His special people!’
So be alert that you also don’t partner with prejudice as you watch the Spirit move where He chooses.
Be ready – do not expect to recognise the effects of the rushing waters, as they will not rise as they did before and will not follow the same channels as they did in the past. Instead, be one who recognises the Spirit, discerns what He is doing at all times and is obedient to His moving and prompting. When you see Him move, get ready to let go of whatever you are grasping onto and go with His flow!
Joel 2:28-30
And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days.
