The Cycle Breaks

Have you felt weary? Distracted? Uncertain of your identity? Demonic tactics are old and predictable – these are the enemy’s main strategies to wear out the saints.

Like the constant drip of water hollowing out unseen caves in previously whole limestone, so the enemy carves out emptiness in people through relentless bombardment of loneliness and exhaustion. But take heart, for I break these cycles and fill them with my love!

Find my heart in my word. Take time to feast upon the bounty of scripture, shoring up empty spaces with the firm foundation of Jesus. Dance with me and sing praises.  Serve the church with faith in action – feed people, compliment strangers, love your neighbour in a thousand practical ways. Watch emptiness disappear in the flood of my love. 

Are you ready to break the enemy’s cycles?

Pray this over yourself: Lord, I bless Your holy name. I’m so thankful You saved me and I am adopted into Your family. Nothing can ever separate me from Your love. I ask You Lord to fill the deep spaces in my heart and soul, to be ever present in my mind and Your praises always on my lips. I break agreement with any enemy cycles in the name of Jesus. Show me Father how I may love and serve in my daily life, and how to live in your unforced rhythms of love. Amen
