Isaiah 25:6
In Jerusalem, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies will spread a wonderful feast for all the people of the world. It will be a delicious banquet with clear, well-aged wine and choice meat.
‘Come to me’, calls the Lord. ‘Come to me and eat, for I have prepared a feast for you, My beloved.’
Are you hungry? Are you thirsty? There is no famine in My Kingdom! When did you get down from the banqueting table? When did you leave the banqueting hall?
‘You are still welcome to dine with me’, says the Lord. Don’t settle for meagre scraps, nor yesterday’s stale portions but instead seek the fresh bread of the new day that has been prepared for you. Yes! Eat and be satisfied – today and every day – for it is the Lord’s delight to satisfy you with the richest of heavenly foods.
Psalm 36:8
They feast on the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights.
