I saw a bank vault open and the Lord encouraged me to walk in to the safe. There, in the centre of that hidden place, was a stack of gold bullion bars, as tall as a man and as wide and long as a car. My first assumption was that there were maybe 10-20 bars of gold but when I took time to begin to count I realised that there was 10 times this amount, maybe 20 times…
I lifted a gold bar; it was so heavy that I could barely hold it. It was so pure, so smooth, like touching pure silk sheets. I realised that I was holding this one bar in both arms, lying across my chest – it was almost as big as me. A great light came from this pile of gold, this haul of treasure; the glow was immense, illuminating the vault and warming the place.
I asked God who the gold belonged to and He said, ‘Ask a different question- ask where you are.’ So I asked the Lord, ‘Where is this vault of treasure?’ And He replied, ‘This is the heart of one of my children. Each of my children has a heart like this – a vault of immense, immeasurable treasure. No calculator, no computer can compute the value of this hoard.’
And Father God said, ‘Remind my children of their worth. Tell them that, inside each one, is a vault of gold that is greater than anything they might ever see in any bank or storehouse. Tell them about the pure gold that I have placed inside each one of them.’
Ephesians 2:10
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
