I hear the Spirit of the Lord say, “Don’t look at the things you don’t have or can’t do right now! Lift your gaze to me! I know it’s not easy to push through the flesh that keeps you bowed down and carrying heavy burdens but dare to stand tall and lift up your gaze to me. Seek my face. Worship me, even in the storm that rages around you, and see how I deliver you. I am calling you to a place of worship and thanksgiving for the things that you have. Focus on what you have, not on what you don’t have. Praise and worship lift you out of the mundane and set your feet on the solid rock. I am your rock. Stand firm in who I say you are and don’t allow the lies of the enemy to have any part in you.”
Isaiah 43:1-2 NKJV
But now, this says the Lord, who created you O Jacob and who formed you, O Israel; ‘Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.”
2 Samuel 22:2-4 NKJV
And He said, “The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer.” The God of my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge; my Saviour, You save me from violence. I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, so shall I be saved from my enemies.”
