The Lord says to us: ‘My little warriors, I have seen how you have strengthened your bow arms (like an accomplished archer) as you have grown in faith, passion for My name and in expectation of what I will do and how I will move. This is good! Keep exercising your faith, stretch yourself in Me and in the things of My Kingdom.
But you need more arrows in your quiver if you are to be fully effective for me. It is high time to make your arrows; it is time to fill your quiver with what you need, in order that you might effectively take command of situations in your own life and in the battles that I call you to fight.
These arrows are My Word. You will find verses, phrases, paragraphs and chapters that will go to the very heart of every trial, every battle, every temptation and every circumstance that you face. You need to better equip yourself with these ‘arrows’ that I have given into your hand’, says the Lord.’
So how are you going to get a better grasp of these arrows that God has provided you with? Why not copy them out, learn them, write them on notes, in your diary, on your phone, on your computer? Keep them on your desk, keep them by your bedside, on the wall, on the fridge, in the car… surround yourself with His holy words of life; of truth; of power; of authority!
Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.
Psalm 119:97
Oh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long.
