Sustainer – your Lion Bites word for today

You have known me as a God who has turned up at every crisis point in your life. You’ve known me as your provider, your healer and comforter. You have known me turn things around for you when your back was against the wall. 

Today I want you to know me as your sustainer. For I am the God who walks with you everyday and sustains you. I am the one who speaks words of love and promise to you before crisis hits so that my truth will carry you through the storms. 

Where you have only known highs and lows, crisis then breakthrough, I want to bring you on to a level path with me. A place where you can walk with me and be continually sustained in me. 

Look to me as your constant sustainer. For I want you to know my sustaining joy, sustaining peace and sustaining provision in your life, says the Lord.

Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.

Where can I go from your Spirit? Or where can I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there; If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there.
