Stop! – make this day different –  your Lion Bites word for today

Each morning you wake up, you yawn, stretch and probably start your day in the same way you always do. At this point, it is very easy to slip into your day and do as you do every other day, getting caught up in the same old busyness or ‘whatever’.

But God is calling you to stop. Don’t let yourself slip into your day as if you had no choice – you do have a choice. This is the day God has made for you and you will never have another like it. There may be plenty of days but each one is different. The people you meet will be different, the things you do will be different and you won’t have the same sequence of events. So this day, like you, is unique.

Take a moment aside with God, for He has a unique plan for you. He won’t force it on you but He would love to take a moment to chat about it with you. Make a choice to seek God and you will find Him. He’s not hiding from you – He’s waiting for you in a day of wildly new encounters and stories yet to be written. Stop – make this day different!
