Step over – your Lion Bites word for today

You are at a threshold, a place of crossing over, as one would enter through the doorway of a house. But there is a step that you must lift your feet over before you can cross that threshold. You can’t simply shuffle in from where you were to where you are going, you will need to take a step over.

In other words, to make this transition into the thing that God has equipped you for and is blessing you in, you need to do something. There is effort involved, just as a bridegroom would lift up his bride to carry her across the threshold, or a builder would make one last ‘heave’ to lift his tools and building blocks into the place where he will be working. Don’t stand in the doorway any longer – take that one step over.
