“Step in my footsteps” – your Lion Bites word for today

I saw giant footprints on the ground and a very small child taking big strides as they placed their feet carefully into their imprint. As well as seeing the child jumping from footstep to footstep I heard their laughter. With this, God says “just as a child follows their parents’ footsteps, not afraid of where they are heading nor giving thought to the duration of the journey, so I am asking you to have that same child-like faith. Know that I have gone before you and prepared the way. Just as a child finds joy in each moment, throw off any anxiety and overcomplicating things and dress yourself in peace. Choose joy. Choose child-like faith.”

Today, as you consider this word from your Father God, respond and give Him your ‘yes.’ You may want to invite God to come and remove anxiety or worry and, in return, dress you in peace.

Specifically:
There is a business person executive about to navigate a complicated business discussion. You cannot foresee how things are about to unfold and God is saying to not rely on your expertise which is very extensive but instead have peace and trust that He will show you each step.  

2 Samuel 7: 27-29
O Lord of Heaven’s Armies, God of Israel, I have been bold enough to pray this prayer to you because you have revealed all this to your servant, saying  “I will build a house for you – a dynasty of kings!” For you are God, O Sovereign Lord, Your words are truth, and you have promised these good things to your servant.  And now, may it please you to bless the house of your servant, so that it may continue forever before you.  For you have spoken and when you grant a blessing to your servant, O Sovereign Lord, it is an eternal blessing!
