Stay In Your Lane – your Lion Bite word for today

Hebrews 12:1 NIV Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us …  

Before the beginning of time, I marked out a path for you.  This is not something that brings any sense of limitation or restriction.  This does not constrain you.  It is encouragement because I have seen every twist and turn of the road ahead and have set in place provisions for the way you are to take.  The path I have set before you releases you into the fullness of who you are.  It brings the most excellent satisfaction, the most joy, and delight. 

However, do not look to the right or the left.  Do not consider the race I have marked out for others.  Stay in your lane.  Your race is unique, and you are not competing.  This is a race for you to complete.  I am bringing you to that place of completion as you allow me to lead you.  Some will run alongside you for part of the journey, pace-setters who will help you speed up, slow down, or navigate different terrain.  

I have set markers on the road, not to limit or restrict you but to enable you to run freely and with confidence. 

Psalm 16:11 You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. (NIV)

Make what God is saying over you into declarations today, e.g.

God has marked out a good path for me

God has provided all I need to run my race

God’s paths lead to joy and delight

My race is unique

God enables me to run freely and confidently
