I will stand in the gap

I am your advocate and lawyer. I am your protection. I am your vindicator. I am your judge. I am your counsel. I am your provider. I see all your inadequacies yet I will stand in the gap when others fail you.
I love the times you look to me for help. I will vindicate you and prove to you that you are my child. I will deal with those who oppose you. I will minister to you in your sleep – remember my mercy is new every morning.

Hebrews 4:15-16
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathise with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are –yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
