Something to chew on – your Lion Bites word for today

‘Once there was a time when you were young and you fed on milk – now you are growing, maturing and I feed you good meat. Open up your mouth and I will nourish you more,’ says the Lord. ‘Open wide and allow me to fill you with my revelation and understanding for this hour and day: a time where you need discernment and wisdom to move ahead of your enemy, and keep close behind me.’

Stay near to me and follow my lead for I am advancing before you and making a way for you. Remain close and eat what I give you. Ensure that you chew on it to draw all the life from the revelation I give you. Do not waste a morsel, for I feed to satisfy, and for my word to be outworked in your life. Do not ‘wolf’ it down but take each bite and savour – for it is filled with goodness for these days of advancement.
My word is nourishment to your flesh and spirit, so come and dine with me.

Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.
