Sharpening – your Lion Bites word for today

What you have walked through has been like flint to a blade – a sharpening process. Though you are itching to be ‘back on task’ for God, this period of being at the sharpening wheel will be well worth it – just wait and see!

You are being sharpened by God so that what He has called you to will have greater accuracy and impact and things will no longer feel like a blunt instrument trying to cut through what it was never supposed to.

When God does release you back into the battle that He has given you to win you will find that things have moved on and that no ground has been lost. Instead, you will be right where God wanted you to be and operating more sharply than ever before.

Be diligent, therefore, in listening and responding to the Holy Spirit, so that you can be perfectly attune to the season, the task and the sharpened tools in your hand.

Ecclesiastes 10:10
